Best way to get ripped at the gym?
I am mission of getting ripped. I weigh 180 pounds and im 16. Im not fat whatsoever its just that i am out of shape. Anyways i go to the 24 hour fitness and i need some help getting ripped the best and fastest way. I need my shoulders, arms, stomach, and pretty much everything to be full of muscle for the ladys. I currently go every other other day. Which means i go one day then miss two and go again. I want to go everyday but is that good for you? And what equipment should i work out on.
A Daily Workout Plan?
Well I it a gym membership at Anytime Fitness. I been going everyday after work for one hour but I need a workou plan. I need a plan to burn fat and build muscle. I want to work on my pecs, arms , and abs(gut). I weigh 204 and 5'8. I want to look good for my senior year this coming school year and I want to look good for summer also to get healthy please help
Should I count my calories or just eat when I'm hungry and eat what I'm craving?
Should I eat the proper amount of calories and eat nutritious meals, or should I listen to my body's signals and eat what I crave, when I'm hungry? Which one works better for health and fitness?
Why am I not losing weight?
This may sound crazy but go and have an allergy scratch test done. You may have developed an allergy to something you consume on a regular basis. One of my friends wives had the same issue and discovered a mild gluten allergy that caused her to gain weight. She had never had weight issues or the allergy until after pregnancy either.

I need help pluging in my wii!?
My Wii cord has a white, red, green, blue, and red wires. They hooked up into my other tv just fine, but now I'm trying to plug them into an Apex tv, which I've plugged them in this tv before successfully. It has all of the corresponding outlets but it says DVD instead of Video. I've tried pluging it into the other plugs but I don't have a yellow wire. All I'm getting is the audio from the Wii.

Should I lift weights if I have body aches?
I lifted on Monday and felt great. Then on Tuesday I felt great for the first have of the day but I did not work out because I want my muscles to repair themselves. However, I took a nap for 4 hours because my classes were over by 11:50am. When I woke up my muscles hurt a little bit, like when you work out then sleep then wake up. I thought they were sore because I lifted the previous day. Then towards night on Tuesday, I started getting body aches like when I'm about to get a fever. It felt like my back was cold and hot at the same time. My arms and legs hurt. I slept and this morning on Wednesday, I still felt the body aches in the morning and I did cardio for my life fitness class. Then I took a 3 hour nap, and now I just woke up and I feel better. I still have a bit of body aches and I am coughing a little bit. I took my protein shake. Now I don't know if I should work out today? Like intensely for 2 hours. I was going to work out chest and arms with free weights, but I don't know if I should if I still have body aches. Also, I noticed today that my pecs look much bigger than on Monday when I worked out, as well as my arms. Could this mean that my muscles repaired and those are the body aches I was feeling?

The best thing you can do is lift IRON. Get in there and lift heavy *** weight. Thats how you get results.
PAL/NTSC DVD player help?
My dad recently bought an Apex home theatre system from a man in my area for $500. The DVD player turned out to be NTSC and would not play original PAL DVDs. Is there any way to make the DVD player play PAL DVDs? We called a repairmen and he mentioned some kind of code, but he wouldn't give it to us unless we paid him. Can anyone help help us?
How do you get a DVD (movie) onto an ipod (nano 5th Gen)?
you should be able to download or go to some converter (on a website) to convert it into a ipod format. I would just google It and you should be able to find some converter that will convert your dvd into the ipod format. (I no how to do this because we record my band playing on a cheap video camera and we needed to download the vids on my friends ipod touch) good luck. hope this helped.

Problem with neighbours building on our boundry?

Is there any upgrades for the bt omega such as apex barrel or e triggers?
i have the omega the bt apex 2 barrel in bt4 threads should work. unfortunatly the the egrip just isnt in the picture for the omega. the reciver or where the trigger is, is an all aluminum caseing so without major modification ou wont be able to put one on. however if you buy a diffrent marker in the future you can always experiment by moding it to put an egrip on let me know if you do i'll be interested to see if it worked or not.
My diet is causing me problems. why?
For years now this has been happening and have only been fully aware of it the last few months as I developed an interest in fitness. For breakfast I would have a bowl of some cereal..then later I would have 2 slices of toast with butter. then later again I would get soup. then a piece of fruit or 2. then later probably whatever I could find like oven chips or pizzas or whatever u get the picture. but when I exercise I would feel so sick and weak that I wouldn't be able to continue or I would get sick. but if I ever got a decent meal into me this would never happen.and I rarely get a decent meal. what foods should I buy to get healthy?

Should you eat pre or post workout?
I take a late fitness class (8pm) And I never know if I should eat before the class or after. When I eat before, I am always starving by the time the class is over. If I eat after, it is so close to the time I go to bed, all I can envision is all those unburned calories. What are your thoughts?

How do you do a crossover when jumping rope?
I've been skipping / jumping rope for a few weeks now as part of my fitness routine. I've been trying to do the crossover thing with my hands (boxer style) but just can't pull it off. Can't find anything on Youtube that tells you how to actually do it (there's plenty of skipping videos where people do it but they don't offer advice on HOW). Appreciate it's difficult to describe this sort of thing in words but any tips?
Advanced task killer on android help?
Okay so I have the LG Apex, its an android powered phone. I got the advanced task killer application because when we went to go get my brothers phone (my whole family has the same one) my mom asked why the battery life was so bad on the android. He said its because the smartphones run/do more stuff than a regular phone does, therefor it uses more battery, so he told us to get the advanced task killer. I have this, but when I go into it every once in a while to kill applications, I have numerous applications that I never even opened or have to do with anything I have opened in any way. For example, I killed the apps, then all I was doing was texting my friend, then I go back in a little bit later (still haven't done anything else except text) and I have a whole bunch on the list, like voice search, calendar, alarm clock, ect. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And do you know why it does this? Thanks soo much!

Android apex problems?
Well I've had the phone for about a week. I have never had a touch screen before. This is the first time it died on me. I went home to charge it, and was watching videos on you tube. Suddenly half way thru a video it made a pop noise and then the screen went blank. I couldn't get it to turn back on. It was hot, but I've had phones get mcuh hotter. I took the battery out and let it set for a half hour. I gave up trying to turn it back on. I put it all back together and suddenly it just started up. The charger was in at that point tho I had tried it several other times in my desprate attempts to try and get it started again. I don't have a lot of apps. And emulator and gtunes and some others. What the hell just happened to my phone?

US Cellular Phone Question?
On the 20th of December, I went in to get a new phone. I chose the LG Apex and I absolutely hate it. The SD card randomly malfunctions, or is "removed" while magically staying in the slot. When I reformat it, it erases everything on it. Also, it is EXTREMELY lag-y the screen takes for ever to switch over to landscape mode and I can type half of my text before it catches up. Anyway. I called in and asked if i could get a different phone. They said I had 30 days to switch it in for a new one. I would like to get the Blackberry Bold which is $130, after $80 mail-in rebate with 2 year agreement. Will I still get the $80 mail-in rebate because I agreed when I got the Apex? Or am I going to have to pay the complete $210?

Worked out last night, woke up this morning...?
I'm sure most people know what the perfect pushups are, and the perfect pullup is. Rotating handles that the perfect fitness people preach work out more than regular pushup and pullups do. Supposedly easier on joint strain too. Yesterday my workout looked like this 3x reg pushups, 2x wide pushups and 1x reg pullups all til failure. I woke up this morning and my front part of my shoulder, I guess the part of your rotator cuff closest to your chest, was out of this world sore. The other is just a little sore. I havent worked out in several weeks, and i havent worked out with those things in forever. Generally i done general weight lifting, but yesterday i was in a hurry. So my question is, does this sound like i have tendonitis, just sore from the workout, or maybe i've pulled it? It's basically a little more over from where your pec and shoulder connect, like maybe a centimeter past that.
Should I go to a Vocational High School?
Alright. I am a Honor Roll Middle School student. Many months ago someone from a "technical high school" came in to talk to us about this public school option. It is run by the county, and the school district pays the students tuition. They made it sound like the greatest thing, you can take a course in many areas such as graphic design, computer information systems, police academy, carpentry, auto tech just to name a few, and get your high school diploma. You have an option to go full day and take all your many academics at "tech", or you can spend half the day there, and take 2 academics, and then spend half the day at the traditional high school and take the rest (What I would like to do). They even give you a 13'' Macbook to enhance your learning! Everyone wanted to go, but a whole bunch of people told them that kids that go to tech don't go to college. I quickly looked up that statistic, and found out 75% of graduating students do go on to college. I also found out that at this school half the kids who go full day meet the state proficiency levels for math, and only a quarter for science. I come from a school with close to 98% in math, and just below that in science. I then approached some teachers, yet they still said nothing but good things about tech. One of my most skilled teachers was even formally employed by them! He only stopped working there because they required for him to have a masters degree! He also said that the reputation was extremely inaccurate, and provided many reasons to back that up. I still continue hearing bad stuff about the students that go there, so I decide to pay a visit there myself. The teachers and staff are very friendly. The facilities are of the 80's era, but the equipment is up-to-date and the school is clean. The director was also very nice, and basically told me that their students are very diverse, and if I put a lot into it, I will get a lot out of that school. If I don't like some students, I simply won't. After investigation, I learned that over half the students have learning disabilities, most of them have lots of piercings and not that it matters but their style is goth. I also talked to one of my older peers, and one of the few that is supporting, and he knows some of the kids going to tech. He says he doesn't know one kid who goes to that school who is academically motivated, but he does not know any half day students, and yet he thinks If I actually listen I will have an advantage and I should go. Yet I continue to hear bad things from my peers, but not the adults. I really want to go, but I don't want any bad decision that I make when I'm 13 to effect me when I'm 33. What should I do?

How much do you think I'll lose?
Okay I am approx 141 give or take 2 pounds. Anyway, so i joined bally fitness. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I am gonna go there and work out for about 2 hours everyday. On Wednesdays and Mondays I workout at home, and sometimes on Tuesdays as well. Thursday is my rest day. I keep a diet of eating about 1100 to 1200 calories per day I am 5'7 or 5'8 and 16 years old. I wanna lose 12 pounds in 5 and a half weeks . What else should I do, and with this diet how much do you think I'll lose? ( The workouts are pretty intense.)

Eating subs everyday is not really that healthy. Try to switch up your diet and get more variety. Also maybe try some weight training and abs workouts. You need to eat more protein and stay away fro so much bread. It's not helping you.
Black screen tv but sound?

Wii Classic Controller With Any Wii Game?
in addition to New Super Luigi's answer, i would like to suggest that if you have owned a gamecube, the classic controller would be great because you are used to the gamecube controls. Also, the classic controller PRO looks very identical to a PS2 or XBox 360 controller. so if you have had experience with other gaming consoles, this controller is best for you!

I was recently there in October only for the weekend unfortunately because there was so much to do. I went to the World of Coca Cola which I loved just because it was different and great for families to visit. Also, the Atlanta Aquarium is definitely worth your visit. G.P.A and reassurance questions from the out-of-the-norm high school student?
Hey there...sound like you have a great spirit and your heart is in the right place. You sound a little lost haha but aren't we all? Anyways, I think as far as calculating the weighted GPA, you can ask your counselor about that? Also...all your extra-curriculars will for sure get you into a great college. If anything...you can always go to a college that accepts you (even it is not your dream college) and then transfer to another one if you feel you're not getting the education you want. College is in no way set in stone...and after you graduate...it honestly doesn't make a world of a difference where you have graduated from. Employers are always looking for experience over the name of your college....at least in my experience. So basically, apply to a bunch of places...don't rush into declaring a major...and continue living your life with the same curiosity and enthusiasm that i see from this post.

You should have a breaker box in your apartment. If the breaker box opperates that socket then you are paying the bill. plug something into the socket and then turn off your breakers. If the socket goes off then its yours and you need to complain to the landlord.

Do you still get a growth spurt when your 16-17? I am a male and turned 16 the April that just passed by this year. I weighed about 125 lbs. And I am currently 5'5. i've been more hungry nowadays. I want to know if ill hit the 5'8-5'10" mark. My dad is 5'7 my mom is 5'0 but my older brother reached the 5'10 mark. If being skinny is really what you want then strive for it, but beauty isn't all about being skinny. To be honest overly skinny girls are gross looking. Be happy with who are are, I'm sure you're very pretty. Don't focus on your friends so much, they're not you, they have different metabolisms and such.

I am a full time fitness instructor. I recently enrolled in a yoga certification course so that I can teach yoga as well. Track training and workouts?
I'm a freshman in high school, 14 and starting track this spring. I'm competitive and fast but I need to stay in shape during the winter. I run 100m 200m and 4 by 100m relay (sprinter). Unfortunately I don't have a fitness center membership (ymca, la fitness, etc.) my only option is in my house and outside. My track club recommended 3miles a week. Is there anything else?Do I need a diet?

Connected laptop to HDTV with HDMI cable?
I recently connected my laptop to my new 46" Apex HDTV with an HDMI cable. However, the resolution comes up as 1024 x 768 and when i open up the settings to change it, the 1280 x 1080 selection is greyed out and is unable to be selected. Any suggestions?

Hi im 20 currently working as a naturalist at a nature reserve, i have gone to school very early in life to become a vet tech and am currently a exotic animal vet tech. i have worked training and been around predatory mammals my whole life. i fully understand the vet work needed, dietary work and behavioral patterns of this animal. b4 other naturalist go off on me about how owning a wolf is wrong and its a wild animal i know i have the scars to show early mistakes. yes i fully understand licencing. i am in a class B zoning state, i can do that properly. second off i also understand it is not a pet. i have done training exersizes with various exotic felidae, canis, hyenidae ,vulpes and even worked with ursidae. I have also done extensive behavioral research on verbal and facial displays with this animal. i can provide the proper diet ,land and enclosure for this animal. i have no other animals tho my life long friend and companion was a silver fox named shade whom has passed away at the ripe old age of 16. i am looking for a companion being a naturalist i fully understand the risks involved. I have worked with tundra and timber wolves they had been bread in captivity at various zoo's. The only question i have has a niche its not where can i just purchase a wolf but where can i purchase one with a full genetic tree or a high quality animal not just one a dog breeder decided the could make a quick buck on. im looking for vacs tree and bottle fed no inbread liniage ect can someone help me out. again serious people only not one that will try to argue my moral and credibility for wanting to coexist with this animal. this is my life not just a dumb pipe dream about a guy that wants a cool pet. im NOT the guy to be like oh its related to a dog im going to keep it in my 2 bedroom apartment and just feed it hamburger. yeah i saw that answer chart. i assure you i am a professional and know what i am doing and leave no margin for error a skin graft from a playing black bear ended my complacency working with these animals. i just want to bring my work closer to home and form a bond with this amazing apex predator.

Unfortunately, I’m a wanted fugitive in most African countries, and North American animals are no were near as “interesting” to my clients as African specimens are. I spent the past few days touring zoos, treasure troves for animal lovers like myself. I was impressed by the white lions held at the Cincinnati Zoo. They had absolutely stunning fur, the kind of thing my clients would love see. I was wondering how difficult it would be to sneak into the zoo with my equipment, conduct my business and leave without anyone noticing. Have any other “animal lovers” tried that before?

220-41 (my age) = 179. 80% of 179 is approximately 142. However, when my heart rate is 142 BMP I don't feel as though I am getting much of a work out. hello i am a 15 year old boy, 5'9 and about 140 lbs. i have been going to the gym every now and then and working out but no results bc i wasnt going routinely. Now i am going to take this seriously. i want to have a nice six pack like really defined before summer. i am pretty slim and when i flex in the mirror i can see the outline of a six pack but only in the mirror. also my arms and chest are frail. i want to get bigger and have decent arms and chest. so i heard whey protein in shakes helps build muscle. i also heard that it makes you gain weight. He knew what he was saying, but there is one thing that bothered me, is the fact that he let me see all of his prepackage equipment and how he did it. What Is a Good Pre-Season Training Plan for High School Varsity Soccer?
The soccer season at my high school starts in about 1 month. Right now my max endurance is about 5 miles in 50 minutes. I think I can run a mile in about 8 minutes. Is it just me or is planet fitness a really really crappy gym?
Most of the people that I've seen go there look like really really poor people or just got outta jail, the policies are horrible, te machines are crappy and aren't for peiple that lift alot, they sound that stupid alarm on me all the time, the employees are rude as hell what do y'all think of that gym?

How does lowering a car affect it?
In my personal expierience loweing by 30mm does not make a great deal of difference. Obviously sports springs are alot firmer than stock springs so ride quality will be affected, the car will usually handle a wee bit better. The only thing you will need to keep an eye on is your stock springs (Presuming you are using stock ones) as these will be constantly compressed 30mm more than usual which can lead to leaks. If you havnt got the springs yet you should really go for coilovers. Atleast then the components will be designed to work together and you can adjust to your liking.

Sorry to say, but, unfortunately, hdmi does not run audio, only video. after much searching around myself there's no way around it, you have to run the audio seperately. I use my tv as a monitor, i'm assuming that's what you are referring to.

My son wants to buy concrete polishing equipment from the manufacturer in his city. Wants to buy locally to get service, have recourse if there are defects, etc. The seller won't sell to any local buyer because he entered into an agreement with a former employee, who purchased the concrete-polishing service from the manufacturer. The agreement was that the manufacturer would not compete by offering such a service, and ALSO would not sell equipment to anyone else who would compete. I think the CNC is void, goes too far when it prevents third parties from competing; what do you think?

What age group does a man has the most raw strength of his life exclude speed and fitness?
actually, it is the whole age group you described. the most raw strength you will have is usually between 22-35. those will be the strongest time periods in a male's life. the peak will happen about between ages 26-32. thats why if you watch the world's strongest man, competitors or usually no younger than 26 and no older than 35...with the exception of mark felix who in his 40s is still very very strong.
What fitness routine do you recommend for someone like me? please help?
i am very small in size about a UK size 10 but have 32G breast. im wanting to try loosing a couple of cup sizes without surgery. ive been told that with regular exercises and a good diet that this is possible but im unsure what to do. im not a gym girl or a swimmer. i do love running and work out videos but the strain my breasts are putting on my body is causing me to stop after 20 mins. i really want to power through and know that the more i exercises and work on my back i will be able to do better. so what fitness routine do you think i should do? just a weekly routine would be great with lots of cardio but not so much hardcore so i hurt my back? please help thanks xx

You probably don't want to hear this, but there is nothing you can do to help him be a better person or change his life. They have to want to change themselves. The only thing you can and should do for him is be there and just be his friend.

You could try alternate firmware such as Tomato, which can override the default strength limits and boost the range by 50%. However, doing this could also cause more heat which will most likely reduce the life of the router. Also, you want to make sure it's compatible and that you're doing it correctly.

So I just got out of a bad business deal with my ex-business partner, and I'm relocating my gym. I'd like to get away from the old name and the negative association people have with it, so I'm looking for a new name to use. The gym is geared towards nearly everyone. Some features include a daycare, tanning, saunas, a large cardio center, free weights/machines, basketball, an indoor track, group fitness classes, and (the key feature) 24/7 access. Switch your white breads to whole grain breads, but try to lessen up on it. Some simple recipies? um protien is key to gain muscle so making sandwiches with meat in them (you said you like chicken?) and whole grain bread, I also make smoothies all this time with tofu ( like pure protien ) so keeping a buch bags of frozen berries on hand to whip up a protien smooth is a good idea. Just cutting out chips or sugary snacks and replacing them with fruit is about the most effective thing you can do. Drink lots of milk, skim preferably because it has less calories, and cut out soda because its pretty much worthless if your trying to gain muscle. beef jerky is high in protien and is also a great snack. Diet shakes are also pretty healthy for you because they are hogh in protien and fiber and pretty fine for calories, and only have as much sugar as a normal size apple, i drink the slim fast ones.

I started playing when I was 5-6 and by the time I was 13 I was really skilled and talented. Okay I am approx 141 give or take 2 pounds. Anyway, so i joined bally fitness. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I am gonna go there and work out for about 2 hours everyday. On Wednesdays and Mondays I workout at home, and sometimes on Tuesdays as well. Thursday is my rest day. I keep a diet of eating about 1100 to 1200 calories per day I am 5'7 or 5'8 and 16 years old. I wanna lose 12 pounds in 5 and a half weeks . What else should I do, and with this diet how much do you think I'll lose? ( The workouts are pretty intense.)

I am a new photographer and not sure what to charge people?
Hello! I am 17 and have begun to do photography pretty seriously. I have a photography page on facebook, and as a result, I have friends and other people ask how much I charge per shoot. I don’t want to charge a lot just yet, but quite honestly I am not sure what is considered a lot in this field. A kid I know in my town who is 15 charges around $50 per shoot, but because of this he was able to buy the equipment-a mac, photoshop, etc to progress his business. What would you suggest I charge? Around $25-$30? Is that too much or too little for, say for example, senior portraits?

Is running really bad for knees?
I've been running nearly every day to loose weight, for about 30 to 40 minutes non stop. Even though I'm still overweight I can run 4 km non-stop. People tell me how to much excercise is bad for your knees, especially running, but where I live it's pretty much the only option I have right now. I want to get an excercise bike soon, so that I can use that aswell. But I've never noticed a problem with my knees from running, if anything I think my knees are better. Once I'm able to get to the gym again regulary I'll be able to do swimming again and use the other excercise equipment there, but until then I enjoy running. It just seems these days that no matter what you do, there's some so called 'professional' that says that it could kill you. I saw some article online citing people who died of heart attacks during marathons and runners who developed cancer... not that I believe that, as the cases they mentioned were likely to have been exceptional incidents.
My phone won't receive texts?
I just got an android phone (LG Apex) with US Cellular. But the problem is with some people, I can text just fine, send and receive texts. But some people I will text and never get a reply. And when I talk to them they say they replied but I never did. So I don't understand whats going on? It's really annoying me because it leads both me and the person I was trying to text that we are ignoring each other.

Objective: His weight today is 183 which is down 4 and 3/4-pounds since yesterday. Blood pressure today is 148/60 on recheck 144/64, pulse is 64 and regular. Overall this gentleman does seem to be better, however, his skin is still somewhat pale and almost ashen. He does have some mild JVD. He does have a slightly positive hepatojugular reflux. Diet & Fitness: What is the cause of this? Can it be explained?
I'll make it short. I am normally about 10lbs overweight. I often try to lose and keep that weight off. When I do this I work out often and try to eat right. I eat enough calories and DONT starve myself. I usually keep this up for weeks. Then, out of nowhere, I start eating too much and it doesnt stop. I literally go on a binge and gain most of the weight back. Then the cycle goes around again.

LG Apex! Can't Remove Battery!?
I have the LG Apex from US Cellular. I love the phone, but it has a spot for 3 little lights that are supposed to flash when I get a message, missed call, voice mail, or facebook update. But since I got it I have not seen the light(s) flash even once. No matter how long I wait it will not flash. Is the light spot just there to be there or is it supposed to light up??? do you already have your CDL? if so as far as orientation ( i went with Werner Enterprise ) its normally 2 days long first day is all paper work make sure you can work with them and learn about the company 2nd day is more company policy and a physical and drug test. you'll bunk with another driver in a hotel but for 20-40bucks more you can get your own room, thats what i did. you can request a man or woman driver smoker or non company driver or owner operator, just note that requesting specifics could take some time to get a trainer in the area to pick you up. breakfast at werner hotel was free contenental. im not sure what is near Swifts hotel but im sure they have a shuttle van to run you to the stores if they are far away as Wern did. as far as useing a power converter im not sure i did my truck was not equiped with an APU(auxellry power unit) but make sure you dont run the batterys down. you can talk to your driver manager during training and if you dont like or get along with your trainer you can request another, hope this help out

Sound system, what is important?
Hello, my mother has a youth center project in Gambia. They have like a big hall where they play music but they want to have their own sound system to be able to invite dj's who don't have their own equipment. I guess you could have told him that regardless of what he thought the problem was, you wanted a new toilet, that you did not want the drains looked at or cleared. One of the things you pay tradesmen for is their experience and advice and ability to diagnose what a problem is. Lots of times, anyone could fix a problem if they could only diagnose what the problem is. It would be a little clearer if you had said what exactly you mean by a weak flush--was the toilet not flushing what it was supposed to flush, was it backing up, or what? In any case, it can be very hard to establish what is causing a problem until you try one of the solutions. The plumber did in fact do the work you were charged for and it might have been a very good thing to have those tree roots removed. I don't see that you have a case for stopping the cheque. Plumbers are usually busy enough with legitimate work that they don't need to go around inventing it.
